River Valley League
March 10, 2008 River Valley League forms from Carver Central

The River Valley League was formerly known as the Carver Central League, changing
names as both Brownton and Carver opted out of the league for the 2008 season, with
Fairfax and Henderson joining the league.  

The River Valley League is an association of amateur baseball clubs, organized into
three separate divisions or leagues, organized under the rules of the
Minnesota
Baseball Association.  The teams are either Class B or Class C teams.  The West and
Central Divisions are composed of four and five Class C teams respectively.  The East
Division is composed of five Class B teams.

The West Division consists of Arlington, Fairfax, Gaylord, St. Peter and Winthrop.  The
Central Division consists of Belle Plaine, Henderson, Le Sueur and Waconia.  The
East Division consists of Chaska, Jordan, Prior Lake, Shakopee and Victoria.

April 27, 2008 River Valley League Games Postponed

Games scheduled for April 27 were canceled because of weather; as reported in
several e-mails and team websites.  For home teams rescheduling games, please
e-mail the league secretary to update the master schedule.

The River Valley League standings have been affected by the large number of
rain-outs this year.  Please remember to e-mail scores (and postponements) to the
league secretary.  When games are finally rescheduled, please inform the league
secretary.
